One-time Purchase VS Subscription

Any one- time purchase made will only deliver you once and will not be charged again unless you as a customer go to the website and order again.

Once you have selected the subscription option, you will be committed to the MINIMUM of 3 WEEK subscription. That’s the commitment you as a customer will be making to get the discounted rate.

Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy

When you have selected the subscription option, you will be committed to the MINIMUM of 3 WEEKS of subscription. That’s the commitment you as a customer will be making to get the discounted rate.

There will be NO CANCELLATION OR REFUNDS for Subscriptions till after the 3rd payment and delivery is made. At that point you as a customer can choose to cancel any time prior to the 4th payment is collected on Wednesday. You can cancel by logging into your account or by emailing info@cleanmeals.ca       

(No other means of communication other than an email to 
info@cleanmeals.ca will be accepted as a notification to cancel as we like to have everything on record.)


When you purchase a product, you will receive your (first) order on the selected day & date. The order that is made as a subscription order, will continue to occur EVERY WEEK for the minimum of 3 weeks and after the 3rd week the subscription will continue till the customer either logs in the account and cancels or sends an email to info@cleanmeals.ca requesting to cancel before the cut off.

Clean Meals Subscriptions

When you select the weekly subscription for Clean Meals you will be able to choose the meals you wish to receive and can edit the choices before every the cut off by logging in your account on Clean Meals website.

NOTE: If you would like to change or cancel your subscription you have to do so before the said cut-off before your next Sunday or Thursday delivery.


Regardless of which subscription option you choose, you will be charged for the order at the cut off time before the delivery. With respect to when charges go through:

Deliveries that are scheduled for Sunday delivery will be charged the previous Wednesday at noon and for Thursday delivery will be charged the previous Monday at noon.

For Example: If you order Clean Meals 10 per week on a Friday afternoon, you will be charged right away and your order will be delivered the next selected delivery day, you will not be charged until the following Wednesday at noon for Sunday delivery or Monday at noon for Thursday delivery.

After the payment is processed there will be NO CANCELATIONS OR REFUNDS for that payment.  

The one-time payment products are one time payments ONLY. These products are not subscriptions so if and when your 1 week, 4 weeks or 8 weeks are completed you will NOT be automatically charged again. You have to visit the website and place a new order to continue receiving meals.


Clean Meals reserves the right to alter, change, or cancel a discount or coupon at any time, without notice. If a change to a recurring coupon will affect future billings, we will make all reasonable attempts to let you know of the change prior to the applicable order charge.
If a discount is provided based on specific order criteria (ex: 15% off for $89.99 recurring orders), and the criteria are not met (ex: recurring orders are canceled after the first order), Clean Meals will charge the discounted amount to the customer account retroactively.


If you would like to change or cancel a future order, you must make that change in your account, or demonstrate some intent towards doing so, before the cut off time for that order. This can only be achieved by an email to info@cleanmeals.ca

If an individual wish to cancel an upcoming order, but does not make any attempt to either

  1. update their account to cancel/change the order,
  2. Contact Clean Meals via email (info@cleanmeals.ca),

before the cut off times specified above, they will be charged in full for their order, and they WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND.

Why do we do this?
Basically, we use the best ingredients in our food, we don’t freeze anything, and we need time to order and prepare our protein and produce so we can deliver your food to you, fresh. When you cancel after the cut off time you leave us with food that we cannot sell. WE HATE THROWING FOOD OUT. Please don’t make us do it.

For Example:
If you have a delivery for Sunday, you can change or cancel that order, no questions asked, right up until noon on the Wednesday immediately before that Sunday delivery. You can log into your account and change it, or email us, and we will consider any of those actions as intent to change your order. After Wednesday at noon, however, you will be charged, at which point your order will be processed and delivered.

In extenuating circumstances, please email us to info@cleanmeals.ca at which point Clean Meals may or may not issue a refund.


The one-time payment products like the 1 week, 4 weeks or 8 week packages are 100% non-refundable after the payment is processed on the cut off dates.


If you have an order in your cart at the cut off time, and your payment method is declined, we will NOT deliver that order to you. A notice will be sent to you immediately, notifying you of the declined transaction, and you will have until 24 hrs after the delivery cut off cycle, to contact us with new payment options. If you do not respond to us in that period, your account will be suspended.

Why do we do this?
We want to make sure that if we do not prepare and waste any food which is not paid for.  


Gift Cards are non-refundable and have no cash value unless used to purchase product on Clean Meals website.






Clean Meals have subcontracted and partnered with Food Kangaroo Inc. to deliver your meals. 

Clean Meals takes all reasonable action to ensure safe food handling and timely delivery provided for regular deliveries. Each delivery bag is an insulated bag with sufficient ice packs to ensure food refrigeration for the minimum of 60 minutes from the time its delivered on Sundays and on Thursdays between 9am-9pm. Once a package has arrived at its intended location and has been left with either the concierge or at the door, Clean Meals holds no further liability for the safety of the package or its contents.

Clients may choose to provide delivery drivers with access/lock box codes, keys, or other means of entry into their private residence or delivery location at their own risk. Clean Meals or Food Kangaroo does not solicit or promote such actions, and is not responsible for loss or damages that may be incurred as a result of the customer’s personal choice.

Clean Meals partners with the most reputable local delivery companies in each province to make all our food deliveries.

You will be getting an email and or a text by Saturday evening for your Sunday delivery and Wednesday evening for your Thursday delivery to the email address and or telephone number you have setup your account with, giving you the window for your delivery.

Second email or text is sent to you when the driver is one hour away from your delivery.

The final email or text is sent to you stating when the food was been delivered and special instructions if any if you are not home. All the drivers are instructed to take pictures when the food is left unattended at the customer’s door.

Please provide your email address and telephone number to ensure you get the notifications and there are no delays for you in receiving your meals.

Once the meals are dropped off at your door, they are your responsibility to collect and place them in the fridge as soon as possible.

Clean Meals and our delivery partners do NOT take any responsibility once the meals are dropped off to your door.


The downside of ordering our food fresh means there may be times where some fresh ingredients may not be seasonally available in the quantities that we need. This may occasionally result in substituting of vegetables and or carbs. The protein portion of the meal will always remain the same as long as supply is available locally at a reasonable price.


Clean Meals posts the ingredient lists in order to maintain transparency about what we put in our food.

However, Clean Meals CANNOT GUARANTEE against cross contamination of allergens in the kitchen. Our kitchen is not a nut, dairy, or gluten free facility, and those who have anaphylactic allergies to the aforementioned items (dairy, gluten, and peanuts/tree nuts) use Clean Meals products AT THEIR OWN RISK. Even in situations where we use products that do not contain gluten some ingredients themselves may have been prepared in our facilities that cannot guarantee against cross-contamination.

Lastly, the Vegan menu represents a product that was not made with any animal bi-products.

Macro and Micro-Nutritional Information

Clean Meals Inc. uses the most highly regarded sources available, and the standard serving sizes of our meals, in order to determine the nutritional information in their Vegan and Omnivorous Meals, and our High-Protein Snacks. These nutritional breakdowns are not meant to be scientifically accurate. Rather, this information is meant to be a general guide to the contents of the meal, and can vary based on small changes in serving size, or the proportion of ingredients used (for dishes that contain a mix of ingredients). Clean Meals Inc. is not responsible for ensuring that the nutritional information is identical for every meal served, and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you, the client, agree to use this information generally for your own purposes.

As we are always looking for new ingredients and better sources, in the off-chance that a meal’s macro-nutritional information does not match that provided on either the individual macro on the website (meaning, if there is a disagreement between the macro-nutritional information provided in one section of the website, and the information provided elsewhere), please notify the Clean Meals staff immediately and it will be corrected.
