How does it work?

Clean Meals is a solution for people to help them eat healthy with the convenience of the customer always in mind. Our online order management system keeps track of all our member’s ordering history, upcoming orders and so much more.

Choose any one or more of our products to take advantage of the value our service provides. To keep things interesting, we have provided our customers with our ever-growing menu items, we work on introducing new menu items and taking out items which are lower in demand.

Our service is there so you as our customer do not have to worry about what to cook, how to cook, where to buy and above all clean up after. The meals will just show up to your door every week for the whole week heat-sealed.

Once you have placed your order, we prepare your food fresh and deliver it in a sealed, microwaveable and oven friendly containers to keep the food fresh tasting great for up to 5 days of the delivery. All you have to do is take the meal out of the fridge, heat it and enjoy.

How do I choose the meals I want?

Choose from our wide variety of menu items from meat, vegan and or vegetarian options.

Any allergies or food preferences you have to ensure you review the menu item’s ingredients to ensure you can have the meal. Clean Meals does not make substitutions or changes to the meals as they are set and cannot be changed.

How will my order arrive?

All your meals will arrive in an individual microwaveable & oven friendly container in a thermal lined insulated bag and if need be depending on the weather with ice packs.

All the individual food containers and the seal screen are 100% recyclable & biodegradable.

What if I’m allergic or there is something I do not like in the meals? Can I specify that?

Any allergies or food preferences you have to ensure you review the menu item’s ingredients to ensure you can have the meal. Clean Meals does not make substitutions or changes to the meals as they are set and cannot be changed.

What if I’m on medication?

Are the containers recyclable?

Yes! And they are biodegradable as well. Our trays are made of 95 percent recycled paper fibre from renewable resources. They are designed to meet all of the packaging and reheating conditions for your prepared meals. The best meal prep containers you can get, these heat-sealed trays can go directly from the freezer to the oven.

How many calories/macros are in each meal?

All meals listed on the menu are provided with estimated calories and macro-nutrient information based on the serving on the menu page.

How to heat the meals?

All our meal containers are BPA free, microwaveable and oven friendly.

If I skip a meal, how long is it good till?

Our meals are to be consumed in 5 days of the delivery provided the seal is not peeled or ripped and the meals are placed in the fridge the whole time under 4°C. Please throw out any meals left in the fridge for more than 5 days.

If you know you will have left over meals and you do not wish to waste any food, we recommend you freeze the meals with in the 2 days of delivery provided the seal is not peeled or ripped from anywhere and the meals were in the fridge since delivery at the recommended temperatures.

To eat the meal you have frozen we recommend you simply thaw the meal overnight in the fridge and warm it up and you will be ready to eat.

Once defrosted please consume the meal within 24 hours.

ARE THE MEALS FROZEN?

No, all our meals are prepared from fresh produce & delivered chilled. While in storage the temperature of the meal is always between 0°C - 3°C.

Can I do meal substitutions? What about my Allergies?

As we do not allow individual ingredient substitution to the meals, which is why we have put all the ingredients on each meal’s page. This will allow you to ensure you don’t pick anything you don’t wish to ingest. This also applies to allergies like dairy, nuts, likes and or dislikes.

Are the meals Halal? Kosher?

YES! All meals made by Clean Meals are 100% Halal.

All products are made with only Halal, Kosher or Vegan products.

I have just placed an order, when will I receive it?

We deliver all our deliveries on Sundays & Thursdays throughout the day between 9am-9pm depending on where you live. We always send you an estimated time window of 2 hour when you will be receiving your meals. Please understand delivery times are estimated and can be delayed depending on traffic and or weather.

You as a customer can pick which day you want the delivery, either Sunday or Thursday depending on your preference.

For Sunday delivery you have put in the order before Wednesday noon so your delivery will be on the immediately following Sunday.

For Thursday delivery you place an order by Monday at noon so your delivery will be on the immediately following Thursday.

What if I’m not home at the delivery time?

We strongly recommend you arrange someone to be available between the delivery windows to receive the meals.

If you’re not home, the driver will do his/her best to contact you.

If there is no contact made between the driver and customer then he/she will leave the package for you as discreetly as possible, by the door or your concierge, if access is not granted to the door.

Once a package has arrived at its intended location and has been left with either the concierge or at the door, Clean Meals or the driver holds no further liability for the safety of the package or its contents.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is $9.99/delivery.

WHO DOES THE DELIVERY?

We have partnered with local reputable delivery companies in each province to make all our food deliveries. You will be getting an email and or a text by Saturday evening for your Sunday delivery and Wednesday evening for your Thursday delivery to the email address and or telephone number you have setup your account with, giving you the window for your delivery. 
Another email or text is sent to you when the driver is one hour away from your delivery. 
The final email or text is sent to you stating when the food was delivered and special instructions if any if you are not home.

Please provide your email address and telephone number to ensure you get the notifications and there are no delays in you receiving your meals.

Once the meals are dropped off at your door, they are your responsibility to collect and place them in the fridge as soon as possible.

Clean Meals and our delivery partners do NOT take any responsibility once the meals are dropped off to your door.

How do I make changes to my personal information?

All of your account and order details are designed to be self-managed. This means that just about everything can be managed with just a couple of clicks through your online account, whenever you sign in.

How do I receive my delivery and order notifications?

We send all your order notifications, invoices and delivery notifications etc via email to the email address you have used to place the order.

When will I be charged?

For convenience and flexibility, we only charge you for an order right after the cut off time stated for the chosen delivery date. This allows you to edit, hold or cancel an upcoming order as many times you wish.

Regardless which package you choose you will be charged for the order at the stated cut off times for that upcoming order.

Provided the charges go through, we deliver all our deliveries on Sundays and Thursdays throughout the day between 9am-9pm depending on where you live. IMPORTANT: Orders are locked in at precisely the stated cut off. If you would like to change or cancel any future order or orders, you must make that change in your account, or demonstrate some intent towards doing so, before the cut off time for that order. This includes sending an email to info@cleanmeals.ca

ONE-TIME PURCHASE VS SUBSCTIPTION

Any one- time purchases made will only deliver you once and will not be charged again unless you as a customer go to the website and order again.

Once you have selected the subscription option, you will be committed to the MINIMUM of 3 WEEKS of subscription. That’s the commitment you as a customer will be making to get the discounted rate.

SUBSCRIPTION CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY

When you have selected the subscription option, you will be committed to the MINIMUM of 3 WEEKS of subscription. That’s the commitment you as a customer will be making to get the discounted rate.

There will be NO CANCELLATION OR REFUNDS for Subscriptions till after the 3rd payment and delivery is made. At that point you as a customer can choose to cancel any time prior to the 4th payment is collected on Monday or Wednesday at noon. You can cancel by logging into your account or by emailing to info@cleanmeals.ca

(No other means of communication other than an email to info@cleanmeals.ca will be accepted as a notification to cancel as we like to have everything on record.)

For corporate and office deliveries we deliver Mondays-Fridays with a minimum of 100 meals per delivery and the delivery is FREE.
